If you have an autogate installation or repair appointment scheduled, please try to stay in and avoid going too far. It’s very difficult to control the timing, especially during the rainy season. Your autogate technicians may arrive early or experience some delays. The exact time for the appointment cannot be fixed because our work is done manually, not by a machine that can be programmed with a specific start and end time. Sometimes, it also depends on the weather. If there is heavy rain, we may get stuck and cannot complete the job. This causes delays, as the following appointments also have to be postponed to the next day. As a result, the next day’s customers may also need to be rescheduled to the following days.

Many customers don’t understand this issue. They expect us to arrive exactly on time for the appointment. For example, they may take a lunch break from 1-2 PM and extend it by an hour without informing their boss. They expect us to arrive at 1 PM, finish by 3 PM, and then head back to work right after. Common Autogate Problems That Hold Us Up

Many autogate issues can cause delays. A very common one is when the brackets and screws are heavily rusted which makes them very difficult to remove. This requires extra time and effort to deal with. Let me give you a few examples. First, the gate hollow is very thin and after removing the bracket attached to the gate, it leaves a big hole. This happens because when customers want cheap price from gate makers so they use thin materials to make the gates. Customers are aware of this but they pretend they don’t know. Ahahaha.

Second, the pillars are like tofu—very soft and fragile. When doing renovations, customers choose the cheapest quotation. As long as it looks like a pillar, they don’t really care about the materials used. We advise customers before they start renovations to use concrete, as it’s more suitable for holding heavy gates and autogate brackets. But they respond that the renovation contractor provides a 1-year warranty, and if anything goes wrong, they can ask the contractor to redo it. I have customers who tell us that if the renovation contractor doesn’t come back to fix the issue, they might get gangsters to find the renovator or even go viral on Facebook to pressure them.
