We got a message from someone in Sri Petaling two days ago. They’ve been renting the house for a few years, and their sliding auto gate motor hasn’t been working for nearly two months now. He had someone come and check, but he didn’t agree with the price they quoted. And, the auto gate repair person messed up his auto gate wiring intentionally. The autogate repair person who came to fix the auto gate suggested replacing the autogate control board and the autogate limit switch. The auto gate roller isn’t moving, and the inside autogate bearing is badly rusted. His auto gate’s pinion gear is also severely rusted, and it’s cracked as well. Upon inspection, we found that his auto gatecontrol panel is functioning properly, and his auto gate limit switch is also in working order. The autogate issue lies with his auto gate roller, which is causing the problem. The auto gate roller’s bearing is broken, which is preventing it from rotating properly. Additionally, the roller has dropped and is now lower than it should be.

The lowered roller is scraping against the floor, causing the auto gate motor to exert more effort in pulling the gate. This increased strain has led to a high current draw and resulted in the fuse burning out. After replacing the gate wheels and the pinion gear, we lubricated the auto gate gear rack and all moving parts, and now everything is working perfectly.

AC Sliding Autogate Motor & DC Sliding Autogate Motor
