Sliding Autogate Roller Replacement in Bukit Puchong – Gate Stuck Halfway Issue Fixed (Ampang, Shah Alam, Subang Area)

Today, our team completed a sliding autogate roller replacement service in Bukit Puchong, Puchong, for a customer experiencing serious gate operation issues. The customer reported that the sliding autogate system would open halfway and stop. The motor also sounded weak during operation. This system is a Tronica® 328 DC Sliding Autogate, installed by our team approximately 5 years ago. At first, the customer suspected that the autogate motor was failing.

Autogate Not Moving Smoothly

Upon site inspection, our technician observed that the gate movement was not smooth. The sliding gate became heavy and stuck during operation. To further confirm the issue, we manually released the autogate motor and tested the gate movement. The gate was difficult to push and pull, indicating that the problem was not the motor, but the gate roller system. Further inspection showed that several sliding gate rollers were jammed and not rotating properly, causing friction and blocking smooth movement.

Before contacting us, the customer had difficulty finding a contractor who could properly diagnose and replace sliding gate rollers. Many contractors often misdiagnose this issue as a motor problem, leading to unnecessary motor replacement. • Manual push-pull test showed no resistance
• Autogate motor was reinstalled and tested
• System operated normally without noise

The earlier motor noise issue was also resolved after eliminating roller friction.
