Swing Autogate Repair Putra Heights – Replace Damaged Gate Bearings to Restore Smooth Operation
Recently, our team received a service request from a customer in Putra Heights regarding a swing autogate bearing replacement.The customer told us that his swing autogate was having problems. The gate could not close completely, and one side of the gate looked unstable, almost like it was going to drop.
After checking the situation, we suspected that the autogate gate bearings were already damaged.
The customer was looking for an experienced autogate contractor near Subang Jaya and Putra Heights who could properly repair the gate bearing. After contacting several companies, he found that not many autogate contractors provide this type of service.

Checking the Autogate Bearing Problem
Before visiting the customer’s home, we requested photos of the full gate condition so our technician could understand the problem and prepare the correct parts. From the pictures, we could see that the existing gate bearings were already worn out and not in good condition.
Normally, a swing gate uses 4 pieces of bearings, with 2 bearings supporting each side of the gate.
These bearings carry the weight of the gate every day. After years of opening and closing, they can become loose, damaged, or even come out from their original position.
When gate bearings fail, customers may experience problems such as the gate becoming uneven, unable to close properly, or the autogate motor struggling to operate. For this Putra Heights customer, all 4 old bearings needed to be replaced.
Professional Autogate Bearing Replacement Process
Before going to the customer’s house, our team prepared the correct bearing size according to the existing gate design. At EE Automation, we keep different sizes of gate bearings, from standard size bearings to heavy-duty bearings for larger and heavier gates.
For this project, the customer was using our standard size gate bearing. During the repair process, our technicians carefully removed the old damaged bearings and installed the new ones. Replacing swing gate bearings is not as simple as it looks.
A swing gate can be very heavy, so proper manpower is important. During the installation, two technicians supported and held the gate safely while another technician removed and installed the new bearings. After the replacement was completed, we adjusted the gate level and alignment to ensure both sides were balanced.
Finally, we tested the swing autogate several times.
The result was a smooth and stable gate operation again.
