A customer in Bandar Kinrara requested our on-site repair service for their autogate. They are facing three main issues. Firstly, the right-side arm bracket detached from the pillar wall due to difficulties securely tightening the anchor wall plugs. Consequently, the autogate cannot fully open. Secondly, the left side has an ongoing problem with the autogate roller bearing, causing the autogate roller to consistently come off the track.
They recently had the right-side arm of their autogate replaced with the new Dnor 212 folding arm. Before this replacement, they already told the gate repairer about the autogate roller trouble on the left side. The autogate repairer said they could fix it, but they couldn’t. Before they replaced the right-side gate arm, their autogate used to occasionally jump off track. Now, after the replacement, it’s gotten worse. The gate jumps off track every few days. Now, they don’t pick up the calls at all anymore.

After looking closely, we found out that the wall holding the gate is made of sand bricks, which are not strong enough to keep the wall plug securely tightened. To fix this problem, you’ll need to insert a reinforced bar deeper into the pillar to ensure it doesn’t become loose. This will provide a stronger and more secure anchor wall plugs for the autogate bracket.

The second problem is that the autogate wheel’s bearing is worn out. When you press the remote control to open the autogate, it works, but the autogate wheel doesn’t turn properly. This makes the autogate folding arm tug at the gate, and that’s why it sometimes comes off the track. Sometimes, this issue is described as the gate “derailing” from its track. To solve this problem, you’ll need to take out the old, worn autogate wheel bearing from the gate’s hollow space and replace it with a high-quality autogate wheel bearing that lasts longer.
